Granz wasn't really able to help, appreciated anyhow, but maybe someone else can. For some reason, the Vintage computer forum, nor F.B. group I am on, are responding, but I am having a strange issue with my Logitech Wingman Precision gamepad, think it could be a driver issue or something like that. Anyhow, works, tested with Wolfenstein 3D, press left and acts like stuck. Verified with 3 DOS programs to check controllets, gets stuck left, and little up according to the test. After few moments it resets to center, BUT here what makes me think it not the gamepad. If I touch the touchpad on the Green 753, the controller instantly resets back to as it should. Any ideas on fixing this? I was going to try this on my Win 10 desktop, but I need to locate my flight controller, which has a usb to 15pin converter, also wanted to try the joystick to double check issue. Thanks.
I didn't find very much information on your specific gamepad online, however, these two links have some information.

Older gamepads had a DB-15 connector. That has a fairly well-documented, standardized pinout. I would use a multimeter to test the various buttons and potentiometers to see if the readings look good when not connected to a PC. You should be able to test the button presses, but more importantly, you should be able to measure the X / Y joystick potentiometers.
Will check those out. Thanks Chris! Sadly, no other systems to test controller on, still looking for my flight stick to test the system for issue.
The game controller port itself could have an issue. But as I said, you could simply check the pots on the gamepad itself using a multimeter to measure the resistance for the X / Y directions. I personally would start there. That wouldn't require you to have any other hardware.
I am actually doing that now, though on this is the rubber membraine buttons.

Oh, it doesn't have analog? I wonder...are the settings on the PC trying to use an analog stick that isn't there? I've seen that happen before where the wrong controller is selected and you get weird results from the one you're using.

Not that I've seen...aaaaaaaand I hate electronics sometimes....... Tried a quick DIY circuit with 2 buttons, a 100k resistor to use, and somehow got 3-5M Ohm out of a 100k..... then I found my flightstick, too new soo system don't like it. So THEN pluged gamepad back into show the issue......
The controller: ALL FINE SIR!
The system: NO PROBLEMS HERE SIR!
Me: YOU STUPID #$^%@#^#$%& THING! REALLY?!?!?!?!
I swear life it trying to drive me to drink..... No issue, so fixed.....
Well, it's working. So, I guess there's that! :o
But HOW?? lol this is the kinda stuff I deal with....

Magic?

Wouldn't surprise me.... lol There's PLENTY of stuff I literally CAN'T explain... Such as my old grill papers, appearing in a pile of papers that I looked through EIGHT times, or a candle that just jumped off the last CRT tv I had, when I tried to make it fall and failed.... so why not magic??
By the way, have you been able to access the ZappBots Forums lately? I haven't been able to access it in 4 days.
4-20-2024 - I just got on. Not sure what was going on before.
I was unable to last night.

For me it's been down the last several days now. :(
I saw its down again.

I got on last night. I was able to sign in (it keeps signing me out), but as soon as I clicked on an unread post, it crashed again. ::)
