Title: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Post by: Chris Savage on May 04, 2024, 01:33 PM
In the movie, The Amazing Spiderman, Andrew Garfield's (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1940449/?ref_=tt_ov_st) Peter Parker is developing a web-shooter on a Propeller Professional Development Board.

The PPDB was primarily designed by me while in engineering at Parallax as a successor to the original Professional Development Board for the BS2.

You can see what looks like an Arduino IoT installed on the breadboard area, as well as what appears to be a PLCC-to-DIP adapter for a device programmer.

Nice catch.

I won one of these at one of the Unofficial Prop Expos that Jeff used to run. It's still working, and I use it for dev work for more than just the Props.
