I don't remember ever hearing about Captain Picard Day. What makes this day Capt. Picard Day?

Yesterday the banner was up on my website, which has a link to explain it. But it's expired, so I will link it below.

Interesting, I don't remember that one. Although, several years ago, when I was going through the series, I ran across the one where Data (having a dream/nightmare/hallucination?) was cutting a piece of Councillor Troy - who was a cake. It was too weird for me, and that ended my watching TNG.

But it was a cellular peptide cake! With MINT FROSTING!  :o

The episode had a lot of Freudian references. Data with his positronic brain was somehow only subconsciously aware of these organisms that were feeding on the crew and his positronic brain was doing it's best to process what was happening.

There were some other disturbing imagery like Data stabbing Troi in the shoulder, Beverly drinking from Riker's head and the funny scene (turned into an Android phone meme) where there's a phone ringing inside data's chest. Just like when they explored Sherlock Holmes and Einstein this episode was focused on Sigmund Freud and the interpretation of dreams.

I found this episode...intriguing.

My favorite episodes were mostly the ones that revolved around Data, however, one of my favorite episodes was centered around Riker. Called, "The Pegasus", and directed by Levar Burton, it was a very interesting episode, though I was disappointed that they never made mention of the content of that episode in any subsequent episodes.

I never really had a favorite, but the best of both worlds was always good.

That was certainly an intense episode(s).

I got an alert about this post. Very funny stuff. BY the way, your website isn't working right on Android (no pun intended). I had to switch to the PC. No menus!
