Yeah (although I wasn't sure what Chris was referring to, but...) Back in 2014, at the beginning of April (it was actually the first, but I rarely play along with April Fool's Day, so I wasn't prepared for this - ) I checked on Savage///Circuits, and immediately after Chris' standard opening page started to show it suddenly switched over to a video of a music group (was it the same group/singer as the last frame in the above meme?)
I quickly called Chris up to report that his web site had been hacked. The only response was Chris and Wendy (in the background) laughing for several seconds - then Chris, still laughing, told me that I had been rick-rolled (had never heard that term before,) and that he had "hacked" his own site as an April Fool's Day prank. Well I got to join in the laughter, and have actually laughed about it with Chris a few more times over the last decade. :) Good times with friends.

Over 10 years ago. Good times! I still laugh every time I hear (or tell) that story! Ironically, you weren't the only one to call me and / or messages me. At least 4 members of Savage///Circuits got a hold of me to warn me about the website being "hacked", and each was met with the same laughter and confusion in return.
James Kenney (Publison) also called me, very confused. Two others sent me TXT messages, only because they weren't sure about the time zone.
So, ten years is a long time with my old memory. What was the group/singer in your rick-roll video? Was it the same as in the final frame of this meme (it seems to be similar, but I'm not sure)?

Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up is the song traditionally used for Rick-Rolling someone. In the case of my website on April 1st, 2014, I redirected my domain to the YouTube video traditionally used for this purpose.
OK, I looked it up on WikiPedia (apparently, I wasn't quite correct in that a "Rick-Roll" is a specific prank, sending a viewer to Rick's video - I was thinking that it was any prank.) That person's image in the meme looked kind of like I remember from 10 years ago, but I wasn't sure - even when I saw the picture in the WikiPedia article.
Lol
OH. MY. LORD!!! I just stumbled across something that made me cringe a little. One of the former engineers at Parallax (yes, one of the three of us that worked on the Stingray) now works at Neuralink (https://theorg.com/org/neuralink/org-chart/kevin-mccullough)!
Most people I know, know that I don't like the idea of putting big brother inside your brain. But even less so when Elon Musk is running things. I wish Kevin the best, but I was surprised.
