If you look at the image below, you will see in the postbit section for each post, beneath your avatar (if you have one) and underneath the number of posts, you have a personal text area. The default is, "Savage///Circuits Participant". See below...

Mine says, "Hacking a better future!", but you can change yours as well. Perhaps you might use, "Engineer Extraordinaire" or, "Happy N00b". See additional photos for how to change this text.

To go to your profile, click your name in the top-left, above the site banner. Click, "Profile Details".

Now you can change the "Personal text" field to be what you prefer (please, keep it clean).
P.S. - Please let me know if there are any improvements to this post that you think I should make. I am trying to make it easy.
Chris,
I changed my text, but it looks a little weird. The text is the same as the tagline for my old company "Helping To Build A Better Engineer," but it appears with everything but the last word on the first line, then "Engineer" on the next line. I tried to balance it with a carriage return between "A" and "Better," but could not get it to work (even tried ^M, as in CTRL-M.)
Is there any way to get it a bit more balanced between the first and second lines?

Sorry...it would probably involve modifying the template for the postbit, but for sanity reasons, I am not modifying things this time. It drove me absolutely crazy on vBulletin whenever there was an update, it would break my modifications.
My best suggestions is to change that text to something shorter and put your, "Helping to Build a Better Engineer" into your signature line. For example, mine says, "I'm only responsible for what I say. Not what you understand."
OK, thanks; I used to have that in my signature. I'll think about how I want it.

Yeah, if you put that in your sig line, then you could change the user text to say something like, "Teacher of Tech" or "Technology Guru" or something clever. ;)
P.S. - This forum doesn't even have the emojis I would like to use, but, I have no desire to add anything more than the one plug-in I use, which is the anti-spam plug-in.

I
thought I had an epiphany. I know you can use BBCode in your signature to format things. I was thinking you could do it in the "Personal Text" as well. I was
wrong.
I tried several ways of doing a line break.
, <br>, \r, etc. It ignores formatting. Sorry, granz.
No troubles, thanks for trying (I also had not thought of HTML/BB/etc. code.)
