I have had people try and beat me down on price when I was in fact doing them a favor, in the end I quit doing jobs for family friends and acquaintances, when asked how much I would charge I would say "you can't afford me" with a slight smile on my face.

I think a lot of people who started, like me, doing things for free, are especially susceptible to being underappreciated.

I'm in the process of comparing what is on my main site with what is linked on the forums. Found this blog article that I missed while populating the forums.
