Title: New and unexpected project.....

Well first off, here's the project.... one P.O.S. battery charger from Harbor Freight.... bottom line, hooked it up yesterday, left, back home, charger blew.... has lots of SMD components, but does anyone have a circuit to repair this? Needless to say, OEM design is NOT required NOR DESIRED.... All I need is Standard battery charging, AGM batteries NOT needed. All I'd like is Standard 2A/10A/50A modes.  Got all the internals, just need to replace the control board, which honestly, NOT impressed with, I don't see HOW it works on 10A let alone 50A Engine Start. with the small traces.  Going to ATTEMPT to get the schematics on the original control board, the battery mode switch is little odd with its design, so THAT will be tricky, I guess start with desoldering wires, noting the original wire locations, and go from there.... Mean time, ANY suggestions on replacement schematics would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, without a schematic or being able to examine the board, I couldn't begin to formulate a repair process. That said, if you're trying to replace the board, you'll need a schematic to start. That type of thing is something I have neither reverse-engineered or looked for online.

I didn't find it interesting that, after clicking your link to see what you were talking about, Harbor Freight sent me an email to ask me if I was forgetting something, because I looked at that charger but didn't by it. MUST DELETE COOKIES!

I can get scans of the PCB, I just need to desolder wires after noting their locations..
