Thanks guys. We had to help him across. Love him too much to see him suffer, but hurt worse to see him pass.

My prayers are with you. It is never easy to lose a pet. They are family and I'm sure Gizmo was deeply loved.

A dog could not ask for a better epitaph - nicely said, Joe.

That's normal, for several years after my mother-in-law died, I kept thinking that I saw her. Same with my sister-in-law, who died many years prior to her mother, it lasted for several years, although less and less as time went on.

I did see several years after the first man I knew as a father in Wal-Mart after his passing. Infact, he came through my checkout line... I knew it was him, you don't get the I'm proud of you look from just anyone...  Now if that one woman wouldn't have come through..... OMG she STUNK is an EPIC UNDERSTATEMENT...... I almost passed out bad....  :o

My sympathies. My grandparents all passed away some time ago. They were the glue that held our family together. It's not been the same since. Sorry, my friend.
