Did you find this picture on the 'net, or did you see it on something on your workbench?

A colleague sent it to me.

Nice.

This reminds me of the picture that I saw of a handheld device that, underneath the battery, had "404 Battery not found" printed in the silkscreen layer of the PCB. If the battery is installed, the printing is hidden, but if the battery cells are missing, then that label shows through the semi-transparent plastic case of the product. I can't believe that I cannot find the picture - I was certain that I had posted it to here, or ZappMan's forum.  ???

And posting that reminded me of this morning (severe pain in my back woke me up at 1:00, it feels like I have a knife in my back) - at just past 4:00 I looked at my bedroom clock, and said to myself "4:04, time not found." :P

Would be, perhaps, be referring to this (https://savagechats.com/index.php?topic=355.0)?

That's the one, you found it. I spent a couple hours searching your's, and ZappMan's, sites for that. Thanks.

It was the pain in my back that made me miss it - that's my story, and I'm sticking with it. My back is better tonight, but still very painful. Hopefully it gets better overnight, I've been on prescription pain killers (Lidocain) all day, and I'll be taking some prescription pills before bed tonight.

Ironically, my back has been extra sore lately. I was late for work this morning because I didn't get much sleep last night due to the back pain. About to try again...

I'm feeling much better this morning. I hope that you're feeling better soon, too.

Actually, I'm doing worse. Weekends are my only opportunity to get things done around the house. I had to assemble two wire rack shelves (https://www.bjs.com/product/berkley-jensen-5-tier-chrome-rack/3000000000005453265/) and a shoe bench / storage bench (https://a.co/d/1WFR8wA). I also helped the wife move her canning jars to these racks, as well as cases of water and soda and other things. My back is hurting pretty bad. I am just now finally settling down after dinner.

P.S. - I am happy you're feeling better though. We can't all be down at the same time. That would just suck.

Heat helps mine, along with Lidocane patches.

Well, I didn't sleep well last night (due to my back), so this morning I stood in the shower for 10-15 minutes with the hot water spraying down my backside. Helped some. I am up and about now.

My shower this morning helped some, but by the end of our Deacon's meeting, after service, I was in real bad pain again. I should have had Marilyn put some Lidocaine patches on my back before we left this morning. Feeling a bit better now, but I turned off the alarms for tomorrow so that we can (hopefully) sleep in.

Pain sucks...
Truly.

Some people don't realize that we were meant to be totally without any pain at all. Pain came from our sin, our decision that we know better than God. If you ask most people who sinned first, they will respond that Eve did by eating from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. However, in the book of Romans, her husband, Adam, was the first to sin (Romans chapter 5 verses 12 & 13 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%205&version=NIV (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%205&version=NIV).) Adam's sin was in neglecting to take care of (protect) his wife. In the letter that St. Paul wrote to the Church in Ephesus (Ephesians chapter 5 verse 25 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=eph%205&version=NIV (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=eph%205&version=NIV),) us men are commanded to love our wives (which includes protecting) our wives.

Because of Adam's sin, we have all inherited (genetically) a sin nature. This includes pain, and unfortunately death. We all have earned death, and hell. But, like that little sign that I had at our meetup, last fall, the good news is that Jesus paid the price for our sin, and because of that we can serve God, and get to Heaven where there will be no more pain. We just have to believe that the price has already been paid by Jesus.
