I had some stuff come up and had to move suddenly so it took me awhile to get my stuff together and set up my computer but I'm back now. I also have been talking to my dad (Granz) and he has been helping me to figure out what path I want to take, we come to the conclusion that I should go school for my EE degree though he started off suggestion it again (he's been telling me for awhile to go for it and I'm realizing I should have listened to him). I do love the entire idea of EE, I've just questioned if I wanted to do that or something else like CS. I'm working to get into the local Community Collage so I can get started before switch to Cleveland State University. And at my dad's suggestion I'm going to post updates here though I'm not sure if I'll have the time while in school but at the least I'll update you guys during my breaks though I'm sure I'll be able to get some updates in during the semester.
I just looked up Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College (https://www.tri-c.edu/))
Their mascot is the Triceratops - that is so awesome!
So, have you gotten the list from Cleveland State, of all the credits that you need, and marked off the credits that you already have? This is really exciting - I just wish that I had gotten my EE degree much earlier in my career. Studies showed that I could have earned $1-2 million throughout my career (and much more now-a-days.)

But I was born in Pittsburgh so I'm keeping the user name, I don't want to be Mistake on the Lake Gamer ;D .

It the only nickname I've heard and it's used a lot by people here, I've found that Ohioans are quite strange they love there state/city but also hate them lol.
LOL, yeah. Don't forget that both of my parents are some of those "strange" Ohioans. ;D
@Steelcitygamer8 Welcome to the EE club :). I got my BSEE from Penn State and at one point I was thinking of switching to CS. When I got out of college I found I liked programming better and the switch wasn't too hard. Now that I'm about to retire I know much more about programming than EE. My suggestion to you is when you have a technical elective take a computer language to go along with any CS requirements EE needs. Hopefully AI won't take over either field. Also a word of wisdom... you can't spell geek without EE :)

If I had to make a language suggestion, it would be C/C++/C#. In the 90s I thought C was a dying language, so I didn't bother. In the 2000s, if you didn't know C, you were pretty limited on many platforms. Of course, there are other popular languages like Python, but C is more universal.

I when to my school today to take my math placement test, I didn't do very well I got a 15 but they said I could take it four more times and I have to do 5 hours of practice before I can take it again and the math coach told me to do only one hour a day at the most and he said I could go to the school and the math coaches can tutor me. Next week I plan to go to the school every weekday to practice and retest on next Monday.
Nice, I hope that you can get your score up enough to get into the math classes that will be best for you.
I went to school today to study for my math test and I decided to talk to a counselor while I was there and he told me to switch my major from EET to Associates of Science so I did that. I'm planning to go in tomorrow and Thursday, Friday at least, for studying for the math test.

Ahh, that makes sense. That will have you skip the one, or two, classes for the EET that are not needed for the EE degree. Smart move.
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile I've been pretty preoccupied with school starting, my classes started on the 8th. I'm just taking my electives this semester do to my mental health. I'm taking Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology, and Art, and I'm really enjoying my classes.
