This is my 8-bitth post (256 since this thing starts at 1, rather than the standard of 0.  :D ) Because of that, I wanted this post to be 8-bit related, so here goes:

This is an RCA COSMAC Evaluation Kit CDP18S020. That is the kit that RCA offered to engineers who wanted to design products around the CDP1802 8-bit CPU. It has the entire 4K of expansion RAM, along with the monitor ROMs. The thing worked the last time that I checked (several years ago.) I am hoping to get a few hundred dollars for this when I put it up on E-Bay, but am willing to accept less from my friends here.

As I mentioned, the board is fully populated with memory and has some work done to the expansion prototyping area but i haven't yet figured out what it is. The red wire, running from the CPU and laying on top of a RAM chip, is (IIRC) an external reset line. You can see the DB-25 connector (with a DB-25 to DB9 adapter) for the RS-232 communication. Those wires run to the included edge connector socket, along with a few other wires - not sure what those are for.

TRADE: I would be willing to consider a trade: One thing that I am wanting is a Pentium-based laptop, with a good keyboard (think of the keyboard on my Zenith SuperSport https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zenith_SupersPort). I need the good keyboard for writing, but also need to be able to run Windows 9x. I am also willing to consider other things related to retro-computing.
