Messenger Chat Testing

I'm going to use this thread to discuss Messenger Chat testing. I'll start this week with Jknight, however, we'll need to use computers eventually so we can share screens and such.

P.S. - We need to decide on a day each month to do this. We can also choose to decide the next date as we end the current one we're on.

I use FB messenger on my Laptop which has a mic and camera. I may borrow the headset I got at work. We had online meetings a while ago but all we use them for now is watching youtube videos at breaktime.

Is it possible to show videos in chats? I was thinking we could also do a virtual meetup sometime next year so any member of the forum that is too far away can do a video of their projects and show them at the virtual meetup. I'll bring the virtual snacks!

Answering your video question here. Right off the bat I have been able to show YouTube videos through Messenger to everyone watching. So if a video is already uploaded to YouTube, yes, you can present it in the chat. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

I can't seem to send a message to JKnight on Messenger from S///C account. Perhaps you have to message me first?

Edit: I'm thinking I will have to use my personal account. Meta treats pages like a business and doesn't seem to support all the things Messenger can do.

I can try that tomarrow. Also as a backup, I'll try discord on my laptop since it has both camera, mic and my settings mention that i can also screen share.

Sorry about this weekend's chat testing...I overdid it yesterday and hurt myself. Though I felt recovered today after sleeping in, I kind of overdid it today too and forgot it was one of my stepson's birthdays. We went over for pizza (no cake, sadly).
