I picked up this, NOT so little printer... The Elegoo Centauri Carbon: https://us.elegoo.com/products/centauri-carbon (https://us.elegoo.com/products/centauri-carbon)

256 x 256 x 256 mm build size at 10,000 mm/s
2 print speed, like 4x faster then the Neptune 2, and with the Optional Canvas system, coming soon, can print 4 colors at once! Also includes an internal light, camera and internet connectivity!

Do NOT touch while doing self check.... I'm touching it! Now what??.... lol
121 point auto bed leveling!
Gotta find spot for this, but I can't wait to play with this! Already got a few printed mods for it, such as new hinges for the door, and side slots for the top lid to slide into!
It looks almost exactly like the Bambu Lab P2S!!! At first I thought it was a P2S! :o
Looks nice, Joe. What kind of stuff are you thinking of printing?

Never heard of that one, just the Bambu line in general.

Nothing in particular, but hoping to improve quality with it.
I did a slice of a Benchy, NO CLUE how to really use this new slicer.... but according to it, Neptune 2D: 1h 28m, Centauri Carbon: 32 m, 29s.... that's A BIG DIFFERFENCE!
However to make this MUCH easier, new software to learn, ElegooSlicer Vs the Ulimaker Cura, which is what I use, so will recheck that Benchy on Ultimaker Cura with both printers since it also supports the Centauri Carbon using 0.2mm layer height and 0.06mm layer height w/25% infil on Benchy and another larger model.
NOTE: These are Est times from the slicer, and not real print time, since I know the Neptune 2D usually takes a little longer in reality.
Neptune 2D Centauri Carbon
0.20 1h 15m 35m
0.06 3h 57m 1h 44m
This is the model I am testing with: Skyrim Frost Dragon (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2719531/files). Since it has multiple parts as well as the whole model, the 2nd whole is what is being used, and due to the size 50% scale.
Neptune 2D Centauri Carbon
0.20 7h 42m 3h 18m
0.06 1d 1h 13m 9h 27m
Now none of these include brim/raft or supports. Now, since both slicers are different, I can only estimate since it is unknown if these are the best settings between the printers in Ultimaker Cura.

Perhaps I am misreading what you're saying, but it looks like you're equating speeds to the slicer. On my end, my A1 and P1S were relatively fast, however, the P2S is much faster! They all use the same sliver, but the P2S is capable of much faster printing. I've seen it do some things I didn't think were possible!
Companies are improving speed / reliability all the time. I would think the slicer wouldn't have much impact, except for possibly efficiency, especially if you're not making any changes.

I've not seen ANYthing like this... actually alittle scary.... From the numbers this is 4x faster then Neptune 2, like 8x on full throttle.... lol Pos. side, loading filament is ridiculously EASY!! IDK HOW they did it, but push in all the way, hit Load n done. lol
I've noticed that the slicer I normally use is somewhat close to what it says... In this case, I just finished printing first print, Benchy..... OMG is ALL I gotta say.... I think the Neptune 2 did one in like 1h 20-25 min... The Centauri Carbon..... 15 min..... WHOLE machine shaking, so I gotta make sure it don't fall due to the Heavy Metal Rock-n-Roll it does... :o :o :o
That video sure makes the printing look crazy fast. I have not done any benchys since my Voxel, so I don't know how fast the A1 looks on that. I do know that my A1 prints much faster than my Voxel, but have not done any real speed tests.

I assure you, that is NOT sped up... Whole machine shook. I did a benchy in 15 min flat. I need a larger platform to print this beast on. I'm actually worried about it falling off...

For my Laser Cutter and 3D printers, I bought heavy-duty steel workbenches with 1" hard tops and they still shake with these modern printers. Didn't budge when I had the Creality printers, but they were much slower.

Right now I got it sitting on a small drawer top, little too narrow for my comfort.
