I've done some research on the Thing-O-Matic (TOM) @Jim Fouch gave me. Thank you Jim! Here are the stats
Software: Sailfish 4.7
Atmega 1280
MK7 single extruder.

I have been experimenting with the Gen 4 interface and I do have the full LCD screen light up. I don't have the operation manual but I've been able to jog it.

I do have a Raspberry Pi 3 setup with octopi with experimental camera streamer and the GFX add in for the TOM. I have GFX setup for the TOM Mk7 single extruder profile.

To Do:
Find the operation manual for the Gen 4 interface to learn how to use it and set the proper parameters
Watch videos on leveling and operating it
Get my pi camera hooked up to the Raspberry 3 and test it.
Get a slicer program installed, probably Cura.
Purchase PLA 1.75mm filament. Jim gave me ABS which I am concerned about using with my sinuses and our pet cat.
Determine if the extruder is actually clogged or if it is operator error.
Finally do a benchy to test it.

Is this not have a control board, so you need to DIY one?

It has the Gen4 Interface Board as a stand alone controller and I couldn't get ReplicatorG to work with it. Octopi with the GPX add in will be able to download to TOM. I could use Cura but that outputs G-Code and the TOM needs it converted. There is a plugin for Cura for it so I can make files and put it on a SD card then use the Interface to load it into the TOM.

The Gen 4 Interface has a 4x16 LCD. I remember the issue with the LCD was the last two lines are shifted right by 4 characters. I used AI and found that the interface was set for a 4x20 LCD. I had to set up a Virtual Windows 7 to run ReplicatorG and was able to set the LCD setting to 4x16 and now it displays correctly! Apparently while it was stored away something happened to the Eeprom settings. I will need to check the settings to see if any other incorrect settings.

Yeah, 4x16 isn't a standard LCD configuration. 2x16 or 4x20 are standard configurations.
