Savage///Chats Forum Rules & Guidelines

[Chris Savage]

Welcome to Savage///Chats! These forums are here to provide a dialogue for the Savage///Circuits website, as well as to create a safe, helpful, and welcoming space for enthusiasts to share ideas. To keep this space great for everyone, please follow these core rules (in addition to the registration agreement):

1. Be Respectful and Civil

• Treat other members the way you want to be treated.
• No personal attacks, name-calling, harassment, bullying, or hate speech (discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability).
• Disagree with ideas, not the person. Keep arguments constructive.
• No political posts. These can offend others and incite flame wars, which we do not want.

2. Keep Content On-Topic and Clear

• Post threads and replies in the correct category or sub-forum.
• Use clear, descriptive thread titles (e.g., "How do I fix X error in Version 2?" instead of "Help!" or "Question").
• Do not spam, flood the board with duplicate posts, or "bump" threads excessively.

3. Protect Privacy and Personal Data

• Never post private or personal information—yours or anyone else's—including real-world addresses, phone numbers, private emails, or sensitive financial data.
• Do not share private messages, screenshots, or conversations from this community elsewhere without explicit consent.

4. No Illegal, NSFW, or Pirated Material

• Do not post or link to adult / explicit content (NSFW), gore, or graphic violence.
• Do not promote, share, or request pirated software, cracked accounts, or illegal activities.

5. Quoting

• Quoting should be used to quote a specific sentence or paragraph that you're targeting in your reply. Please do not quote the entire message or post, unless it is a sentence or paragraph. Edit your post so it doesn't include the entire thread as part of your reply.
• Please do not quote photos in the reply, unless that's what your reply refers to specifically.

6. No Outside Advertising / SPAM

• If you signed up just to post an advertisement or link (including in your signature), your account will be deleted.
