Heading back to school to get a EE degree/I'm back

I had some stuff come up and had to move suddenly so it took me awhile to get my stuff together and set up my computer but I'm back now. I also have been talking to my dad (Granz) and he has been helping me to figure out what path I want to take, we come to the conclusion that I should go school for my EE degree though he started off suggestion it again (he's been telling me for awhile to go for it and I'm realizing I should have listened to him). I do love the entire idea of EE, I've just questioned if I wanted to do that or something else like CS. I'm working to get into the local Community Collage so I can get started before switch to Cleveland State University. And at my dad's suggestion I'm going to post updates here though I'm not sure if I'll have the time while in school but at the least I'll update you guys during my breaks though I'm sure I'll be able to get some updates in during the semester.

I just looked up Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College)

Their mascot is the Triceratops - that is so awesome!

So, have you gotten the list from Cleveland State, of all the credits that you need, and marked off the credits that you already have? This is really exciting - I just wish that I had gotten my EE degree much earlier in my career. Studies showed that I could have earned $1-2 million throughout my career (and much more now-a-days.)

But now your user name is wrong - you have to change it to Cleveland Gamers, or something. Too bad that Cleveland is not respectable enough to have a nice nickname, like Steel City, or River City, or something.

Good luck, wish i could get an EE degree, but can't afford it, so it is what it is.

It the only nickname I've heard and it's used a lot by people here, I've found that Ohioans are quite strange they love there state/city but also hate them lol.

@Steelcitygamer8 Welcome to the EE club . I got my BSEE from Penn State and at one point I was thinking of switching to CS. When I got out of college I found I liked programming better and the switch wasn't too hard. Now that I'm about to retire I know much more about programming than EE. My suggestion to you is when you have a technical elective take a computer language to go along with any CS requirements EE needs. Hopefully AI won't take over either field. Also a word of wisdom... you can't spell geek without EE
