That's funny! I've got a couple of USB Thumb Drives that, when I copy files to them, they write a bunch of data and then stall for a period of time in which the "Time Remaining" goes up, instead of down, once to the extent of hundreds of hours.

Actually, Jack posts a new issue of his newsletter every month. The link that I gave is for that specific issue (Issue Number 492, June 17, 2024.)
