This came in my Savage///Circuits email. I haven't gotten one of these in a long time. It's been reworked, but just as silly and dumb.

Hello,

I have some bad news to share.
A few months ago, I gained access to your devices and started monitoring your online activities.

Are you still surprised how that could happen? Frankly speaking, malware has infected your devices and it's coming from an adult website, which you used to visit.
Although all this stuff may seem unfamiliar to you, let me try to explain that to you.

With the aid of Trojan Viruses, I managed to gain full access to any PC or other types of devices.
That means that I can watch you whenever I want via your screen just by activating your camera as well as microphone, while you don't even know about that.
Moreover, I have also received access to your entire contacts list as well as full correspondence.

You may be wondering, "My PC and devices are protected by a legitimate antivirus, so how could that happen? Why couldn't I get any alerts?"
To be honest, the reply is quite straightforward: malware of mine utilizes drivers, which update the signatures on a 4-hourly basis, which turns them to become untraceable, and hereby makes your antivirus remain idle.

I have collected a video on the left screen where you enjoy masturbating, while the video on the right screen shows the video you were watching at that point in time.
Still puzzled how much damage could that cause? One mouse click is enough for me to share this video to your social networks, as well as your e-mail contacts.
In addition, I was also able to gain access to all e-mail correspondence as well as messengers used by you and found there some very interesting things.

Below are simple steps required for you to undertake in order to avoid that from occurring - transfer $1550 in Litecoin equivalent to my wallet (if you don't know how to complete that, just open your browser and make a google search: "Buy Litecoin").

My Litecoin wallet address is: ltc1qdk9rd45llgx7uf7f6qctsnaxuzylypwhm2

Once the payment has been confirmed, I shall remove the video without delay, and that is the end of story - afterwards you won't hear about me again for sure.
The time for you to perform the transaction is 2 days (48 hours).
After this e-mail is opened by you, I will get an automatic notice, which will start my timer.

Any effort to complain will not change anything at all, because this e-mail is simply untraceable, just like my Litecoin address.
I have been developing these plans for quite an extended period of time; so, don't expect any mistakes from my side.

If I get to know that you tried to send this message to anyone else, I will distribute your video as described earlier.

Yeah, those kinds of things come in fairly often. Some of them claim that they watch me (even though all of my cameras have tape, or bandaids, covering them) while I'm watching porn. Yeah right!

The best ones are the ones where they claim to see my C: drive - on my Linux system, which does not have a C: drive!  ;D

A few years ago, I "caught" one of those Ransomware (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ransomware) things. It was a minor nuisance; I had to shut down my computer. When I powered it back up, there was no sign of that ransomware! Let's hear it for Windows programs trying to take over Linux computers.  :P

Yeah, that's another good one. We don't have any credit cards, so if you are going to "terminate" my account, that's perfectly fine with me.  ::)

I've only had this type of scam email come in twice (including this one). The first one really made me laugh, because it read something like, "I've been watching you through your webcam and monitoring your online porn activities. If you don't mind me saying, you have some weird interests! But I'm not here to judge, just get paid."

Anyway, at the time, I didn't even have a webcam, much less accessing sites that I know can / will infect my PC.

Yeah, my SPAM folder is full of that stuff, as well as order confirmations (including bit coin) and delivery issues. But it really takes some coconuts to tell someone they're watching you masturbate and see the porn you're watching and then try to blackmail you on this assumption by sharing this with your friends / family. I'm calling his bluff by sharing his email here online for everyone to see. I did corrupt the "wallet" ID.

I almost always use a laptop/notebook/netbook, and most of them do have a webcam built-in. That was one more thing that I liked about my old Dell M6800 (besides the name - I.E. the 8-bit Motorola CPU  8) ) that it did not have a built-in webcam. I pretty much always put a bandaid over the camera lens - I hate people watching me like that.

Ok, THAT explains the bandaid over the ThinkPad I got from you! lol

Hah! I had forgotten that. Yes, for privacy, I almost always put a bandaid on built-in webcams. The dressing pad right over the lens prevents glue from sticking to the lens in case I decide to use the webcam later.

I bet he thought the webcam had a boo-boo, at first. LOL  ;D
