Some plastic cases yellow over time, but the VIC-20 case was yellowish when it was brand new. The tones of the C=64 varied depending on the rev...everything from brownish / beige, to light beige, to white on the C=64C.

Many people did, back in the day. And many people had that paint peel off because of the nature of the plastic used. Even I didn't know the secret back them to getting a paint job to stick on those old cases.

I am not sure how todo it... I have a case now that needs painted.... I HATE white...

It's not so much the how, as the what. You need a special paint that will adhere to the plastic that forms the case.

Most of this case is metal. I gotta check if its got any plastic or not...

Yeah, metal would normally be no troubles (depending on the finish - stainless steel may give troubles,) but if the metal is coated with plastic, then you're back to the plastic troubles.[/quote]
