It took me a bit, but i spent almost 3hrs just looking over stuff as well as dos games, sorted by year. Lol

Yeah, I agree - the organization leaves something to be desired, to say the least. I would have expected files to be organized by game, but when I tried looking for Odyssey 2 (one of the few video games that I enjoyed was "Quest for the Rings" (https://odyssey2.info/strategy/qrings/.) The search engine itself gave constant failures (at least for the few searches I tried - even searching for dBase, which I saw, gave a null result.

I did find the "Total DOS Collection" and it has some tremendous finds. So, I will probably try to download that collection.

I found quite a bit I downloaded, n some reg software. Would like some of the arcade games, but the naming system is really confusing...

Yes, the naming is rough, and placing them by date without any "index", or table of contents, makes it difficult to find anything.

Reported to be ready to shut down last year, the site has come back stronger than ever. It even has a new look, inspired by an old version of Windows - Win 3.



I have personally used oldversion.com for many programs, and have had very few duds. Give it a try.

I would have to say that I have gotten most of my retro-computing programs (other than the ones that I still have from back in the '80s ) from Old Versions, and Win World (https://winworldpc.com/home.)
