Looking for Missing Data / Hardware

I'm going to post this now and I will put up a list later of things I am looking for.

In 2017/2018 I lost EVERYTHING! I lost my wife in 2015, my career in 2017, my home in 2018 and finally everything I owned. Everything I ever worked on as far as projects and the website was gone. I have been able to find some of the data that used to be on my website via archive.org and other sources, however that is a fraction of what there was.

Many of the projects I am trying to restore are missing some or all data. Some stuff is almost certainly lost forever. Soon I will create a list of everything I am looking for. Many of the former members of my website are simply no longer interested in electronics or microcontrollers and / or have switched platforms. Sadly, some people we lost.

But I think there may be some people out there with some of the data to projects I posted to which I no longer have the data. I am hoping that if I get a list, some of these things might find their way back to me. This includes, but is not limited to, projects, source code, schematics, photos, hardware needed to recreate these projects and videos from Savage///Circuits TV or other videos from my old website, which are unfortunately NOT archived on archive.org.

Not everything that is not up is missing. I simply haven't gotten some articles restored. But I will work on a list of the missing stuff coming up very soon and will link that post to Social Media. Each item will link to the relevant article page for reference.

#1
The Manta Ray - I no longer have the hardware for this project and it is no longer available.

Scribbler Pen Lifter - I no longer have the hardware for this project and the Scribbler 1 is no longer available.

GPS Navigation - I no longer have the hardware for this project and the LynxMotion robot base is no longer available.

Wheel Platform Robot - I no longer have the hardware for this project. I could rebuild the frame, but I no longer have the MMWK hardware.

Audio Level Meters - I no longer have the hardware or schematics for these and I remember giving some away on my old website. I was really hoping to reverse engineer my own schematics as I spent some time perfecting these meters.

Emic 2 Sentence Indexing - I no longer have access to an Emic 2 TTS Module to restore this demo.

PIR Triggered Relay Circuits - RESTORED

Relay Driver Circuits - RESTORED

These are just some of the items I am looking for or looking for parts / data for. Thanks for looking.

Chris, I may have some code and pics archived somewhere.  A quick look on this machine didn't yield any but when I have time I'll look on some old drives.

I appreciate anything you have. I think the biggest loss isn't even with the projects...but the dozens of product reviews I had for test equipment and bench tools. Archive.org had only TWO of them archived. Sad, but I do appreciate you looking for old lost project data. Thank you!

On your audio level meters, would the schematics from my Knight Project book be of any help?

I appreciate you wanting to help, but it's a simple enough schematic. It's just that I had fine-tuned some of the values for the modifications I made, and a quick peek would allow me to recreate the schematic without having to experiment to get the same values again.  ;)

Obviously, if I can't find who I gave some to, I can just rebuild them on a breadboard and experiment with those values again. I just have a lot going on trying to get content up, so looking for an easy out.

Hello Chris, Your above post seems to indicate that you need an Emic2 hardware, from Joe Grand I think it is, I'm pretty sure I have some still, in fact I have a bunch of unused Parallax Hardware. Let me know if you still need one I'll pull one out of an old LISA Alarm and send it to you and/or look through my stuff and try to find an unused one.

Jason,

Yes, I used to have a couple of tutorials that were based on the Emic2, but I lost all my Parallax hardware within a year after they let me go. I haven't been able to find one elsewhere. If you have unused hardware that you want to sell, maybe you can email me a list and we could figure something out.

I'm still adding to the list, just behind on getting things updated. There used to be so much more than I have now. Thanks for replying.

NO worries Chris, you have helped Lisa and I years ago, this one's on me. I have so many things still, I'll try to send you a list.

I still want to learn how to do the menu selection with SPIN and I still want to learn how to transfer LCD information to large 7 segment or is it 16 segment? displays(too many years have passed with too much stress)
Lets commission you and Commander Data again, and build that project ;D

Let me know how you want me to contact you with the List, a phone call might also be easier so I can just speak to you as I'm going through things.

Thank you. I will PM you my phone number. I will be talking to Commander Data this weekend. He's been a bit busy for a few weeks on some big project.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever find anything in your search?

Nothing turned up on mounted drives.  I've got some old stuff boxed away - could be something in them.
