In this post I mentioned that Amazon really needs to work on their packaging of circuit board based items, where these items come in a foil wrap and are only placed in a bubble envelope, inherently getting crushed during delivery.

That said, I no longer review items on Amazon because 9 out of 10 times my reviews are rejected (automatically, I believe) after sitting in their queues for sometimes up to 10 days. Almost every time they say it's because they believe I am reviewing the seller and not the product.

One example is me mentioning that the item was received damaged and that the packaging was not adequate. When the replacement came, it too was damaged, and my review included that the replacement was also damaged. Somehow they consider this a review of the seller and not the product. So, I no longer review purchases, and they somehow stopped sending me the emails asking me to review purchases.

All this said, I was surprised when an item kept showing up for me on the front page, and today I clicked on it and was reading about the item and as I scrolled down, I saw a note that the item, which has a 4.3 / 5 rating in thousands of reviews, apparently has a high return rate. Go figure...some level of honesty from Amazon.
