Well, I have been able to log in the past few times that I tried. I just wish that it could go back to the way it was before the 'bots started trashing things. But, I guess the old saying is true: "You can never go back."

I was just able to access it, but I need to figure out if I am missing messages when it times out my login in between these downs.

Chris, thank you for sharing and thank you and Zappbots for keeping your websites and forums going. I remember Savage Circuits and Parallax were my must go to websites. I was really into the Propeller, going to expos, going to some get togethers at OBC's shop and online chats, not to mention a roomful of Parallax products. For me it all started to end when Parallax removed the gaming subgroup and went to their business model. It took the fun out of it. I also lost patience in waiting for the Propeller 2. So I moved onto the Arduino, Pi, FPGA and Arm devices. I was also becoming discouraged when I bought a new development board only to find it discontinued in a few months.
 
When Covid hit causing the electronic parts to skyrocket in price due to lack of availability and Radio Shack closing I decided it was time to concentrate on another hobby of mine that wasn't affected as much, had a local club and obsolescence was a good thing, coin collecting.

Recently the "itch" has returned so I am so glad to find these websites are up and running so I can connect with old online friends and with the get together soon I am blowing the dust off the roomful of parts and getting back into it.

For closure for the people interested in this, here is the end of a PM conversation I had with ZappMan:

This is weird, after our exchange last night, I was able to connect from my netbook, same router - which should be the same public-facing IP address. Now, this morning, I can connect to your forum from my main computer.

My current IP address is: 73.52.215.158 - the same as last night. Strange.

Anyway, thanks again for checking it out.

ZappMan had checked my IP address, and it was not on the banned IP address list - apparently, the banned IP checker is acting psycho.
