Stop the presses! Big news!!!! My memory is going bad. I was TOTALLY wrong on the weekend of the Children's Festival. It is the 6th so Sept 13th should work after all. Holiday Inn Express, Meadville (https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/meadville/mdvpa/hoteldetail, 814-724-6012) is only 1.2 miles, and three minutes drive away from the church. I think that I will be reserving a room for Marilyn and I as soon as Brian confirms the date.

Bad news... I called the church and the room is already booked for the morning of September 13th. The 6th is booked all weekend. I need to check with my wife about the 27th since we may be out of town on vacation.

It looks like we are pretty much set on the 27th of Sept for our meetup. I have it in my calendar, and have notified Peter, Ashley and Marilyn. Let's try to keep it steady; a couple more confirmations and I will go ahead and reserve my hotel room. My plan is to arrive on Friday, so that I can get to the church early on Saturday to set up. We will then stay Saturday night, and leave early Sunday afternoon. Are we still thinking about getting together for breakfast/brunch on Sunday (the after-party )"

Will you be posting this in your Church's bulletin (maybe a couple weeks ahead to get better turnout)?

Also, how does the Church want us to be "open to the community"? Should we put a notice in a Meadville newspaper, or can we request putting up a sign in your local library? Will just word-of-mouth do for that requirement (with which I totally agree - the more the merrier.) Can you think of any other ways that we can publicize this?
