I also have one of those. I had too much trouble trying to get the wiring in the socket. One of these days I'll try one of the ZX81's I have. I have 3 but none of the keyboards work due to age. I only have one replaced. I also have a modern kit someone made that I have put together and has those little switches on it that I play around with.

I like that keyboard cause of the lil buttons, if wear out can replace
