Had a very nasty fall yesterday. Carrying a wooden trashcan out to my garage, stepped on the deck steps, slipped went down only after the trashcan went up n broke over my back.... needless to say NOT ok... in a whole lotta pain... can hardly move around, let alone do anything... going to the chiropractor to hopefully get some relief... NO idea HOW I am going to work tomorrow...

At the chiropractor now, he is going to take xray. Update soon.

Don't wish your self dead, I understand the frustration of not being able to move without pain and back pain is one of the worst. I was almost in tears once because I could not hammer a few nails in a wall when I had back pain, I eventually had surgery and was off work for 3 months.

Hopefully your back will begin to feel better in 2 or 3 weeks, is a chiropractor someone you have visited before? I never went to a chiropractor I was always wary of their methods.

I feel for you...Mondays I only work 6 hours due to chronic back pain from a work injury. If I don't work reduced hours on Monday, I can't make it through the week. Lower 3 discs got crushed and the only two options will essentially make me fully disabled, so I have to put up with it. But there are times when I can't even sit up in bed, much less do anything.

I agree. Nothing has ever taken me down like back pain. Even before the injury, sometimes I would pull my back shoveling snow and that would take 2-3 weeks before I could really do anything again.

Well at Urgent Care now. Chiropractor took X-Rays n looks like that *censored* trash can may have damaged a veribre.... 6 weeks light duty

Ouch! I hope that the doctors can do something about it, and soon.
