This is akin to just hiding the problem, rather than fixing it. I've heard this logic spoken before regarding COVID...something to the effect of, "Cases up because we TEST, TEST, TEST. A Fake News Media Conspiracy", followed by, "If you don't test, you don't have any cases", and finally, "If We Stop Testing, We'd Have Fewer Cases". LOL
