Videos games...especially First Person Shooters were my "stress relief" for a long time. I put this forum in since I was doing  a lot (relatively) of gaming and when my coworkers or others would ask stuff, I would refer them here to links to my videos and other information.

Ironically, ever since I put this forum in, I have been doing a LOT less gaming...in fact, other than M$ Solitaire on my phone (bathroom breaks), I can't remember the last time I played a game on the PC. And I have so many to choose from. It's weird.

I know I have been working on more project related stuff and trying to get the house done still, but the change is causing me to self-reflect a little. I've always played something when I needed a break from life. The fact that I'm not at all lately is just a bit disconcerting. It's been months.

I can relate to that - many decades ago, I used to garbage pick televisions, and radios, fix them up and give them away to friends and family. At about this time (early '70s,) I used to get up early in the morning and get a couple hours of TV time after my paper route, then I would quickly come home after school to get a few more hours in, and then another couple hours of TV after dinner. Altogether, I would say that I averaged about five to seven hours per school day - more on weekends. :o

Well, since I was doing so much watching, I decided to set up a television at the foot of my bed. It was a beaut - I wired in a headset so that I could listen without bothering my brother (we shared a bedroom.) Then I wired in a remote on-off switch and volume control so that I didn't even have to get out of bed to watch TV.

Immediately after getting this set up, I suddenly dropped down to about one to two hours per week. I must have made it too easy, and so wasn't interested any more. :D

That's what I'm saying though...I don't get it why I don't even have the motivation to play anything lately. It's so out of character for me.  :-\

I think it depends on mood, among other things.

Well, I didn't get a game day, but I did manage to clear dozens of video files off my PC by rendering and uploading captures from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019. Watching the videos was almost like playing again. LOL

Lol.  I've not recorded in over a year... but I've been playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch lately again.  These shrine runs are annoying sometimes.... ok and waiting for that STUPID dragon to get a scale from.... NOTHING like standing in place for over an hour to get it....

This explains why I haven't seen you logged inot the steam client in a very long time.

I don't even have Steam installed currently. I haven't played any games in a very long time. I have been too busy on homeowner projects to play any games. But, maybe that will change this winter when we're inside more. IN any event, I have to update to Windows 11 before I would even entertain it.

To answer your question, I do own Skyrim, but have never played it. It's on Steam. Pretty sure I bought it cheap on sale, but just never got it installed.

The only game I have played since uninstalling everything is a little bit of Warcraft 2, an RTS (OLD). I played it a few days then got busy, as usual.
