What size? What interface? I may have a 1TB or 2TB SATA drive that I preemptively replaced on my main PC. The original drive was working just fine, but I replaced the secondary drive at the same time I replaced the failed primary SSD.

2.5 in sata. In her case, i know she don't need much storage has 500 now, supposed to come with 320, heck 256 would be more then enougj room.

Sorry, dude. I don't have any 2.5" drives. Just the one 3.5" and an NVMe (1TB) that hasn't been tested.

I would be surprised if you had a 2.5" drive in a desktop, but I guess if you installed it, you would know better than I.  ;)

For under $15.00 you can get an adapter to adapt an NVMe drive to a 2.5" SATA frame, IIRC.

I'm not sure what you are saying there! How about not using "texting" shorthand please? I have an extremely difficult time reading that stuff, sometimes.

Are you saying that you have a 1TB drive? or do you still need a drive?

500GB SSD is boxed, addressed and ready to go. We are leaving in about an hour, and will stop at the Post Office on the way out. Will PM the tracking number to you then.

Nothing. If I just send something, or offer something, without discussing price/cost, then that item is yours, free. If I need/want money, that cost will be agreed BEFORE I send it (like the stuff in the "sale/trade" sub-board.) This one was packaged up before we talked about price; thus it is free to you.
