For Sale or Trade - Working Tandy 600 Laptop With BASIC In ROM

I have a working Tandy 600 computer (http://tandy.wiki/Model_600.) These were pretty rare, with only about 20,000 produced. The NiCd batteries are original, and do not hold a charge, but the computer runs from the included power supply. This is an Intel 80C88 system, but it is not MS-DOS compatible. There is a copy of Microsoft's Works in ROM. Because the main battery does not hold a charge, you will need to start it up by following the instructions for a Cold Start (http://xartica.com/DigitalDinos/Pages/Information/docT600FAQ30.html#4.1.)

Also included is a wheeled travel case that came with it when I received it (missing one wheel.) A copy of the Utility disk is also included, along with a data disk which I formatted to 360K for this computer. The Owner's manual is included, but it was missing a few pages when I received it; you can download the manuals from the wiki page linked above.

It does have the BASIC ROM installed (had to remove the MultiPlan ROM to use the plastic carrier.) The BASIC works just fine. Unfortunately Microsoft neglected to put the standard IN, OUT, PEEK, POKE and USR commands/functions into this BASIC, those can be implemented through the Utility disk.

I ordered two memory upgrade kits (https://github.com/bkw777/TANDY_600_RAM) that have everything except the actual RAM chips. Those two kits are included also. You would need to obtain those 628128 RAM chips, and then solder the boards. These will give you two 92K RAM expansions for a total of 224K RAM.

I am asking $600, plus shipping/handling for this system; however I am willing to consider a trade. The systems which I am currently looking for include:

• Bondwell 2 Laptop (the one with CP/M 2.0), with power supply and memory card
• NEC PC-8500 Laptop with external floppy drive, power supply and memory card
• HP 200LX MS-DOS handheld PC with 4MB of RAM, power supply and serial cable
• Commodore SX-64

To be considered for trade, I will need these computers to be in good, working condition, with all required parts, plus the additional parts listed above.
