One of the nice things about my new Voxel is that it comes fully assembled (even brand new, not just when bought used.) My other printer (a Neptune 2) took several hours to assemble. Plus I never got it dialed in - didn't help that I started packing to move almost immediately after getting it assembled.  :(

I hope "Gizmo" pup is feeling better, with the new medications.
And, thanks for posting about your new Elegoo printer.
Seeing new toys tools is always interesting.

Me too... closest thing IO have to children, and my 2 cats are already on the other side.  Your welcome, I got the post processing unit now, so next is that.

Not much here, manual, power supply, turn table, tools, cleaning vat w/basket and the unit itself. Looks pretty simple. I guess from what I read, 93% rubbing alc to clean with.

Oh yeah - my post came across as contrasting my new Voxel to your Elegoo. What I meant was to contrast my Voxel with my Neptune 2. The Neptune will print much bigger items, but it takes up a whole lot more space on the shelf - that is why my Neptune has not been unpacked since I moved into this house.

Oh I know. lol Still not bad compared to my first printer.... Printrbot 1405 SimpleWood.... NOT a good design.... Bolt the frame together, but let's have the axis bearings end to end, ziptied on using 4 in long zip ties.... REALLY?!?!  Needless to say, Y-Axis sag was at least ONE INCH..... the only good parts were the electronics..... frame is flat out crap as far as being reliable....

Hah after that review I went to the site, and the first line of the text started:
Quote from: 3DPrintPrintrbot is known for their affordable, yet high quality 3D printers.

There seems to be some kind of disconnect here. ;D

More like streching things.... wood didn't bother me, but bearing should been spaced out.... not to mention held inplace better... but othee then that it was good.

First print. Says Rook, but it's more like a castle tower, printing Transparent Red, so will find out how it looks. Think layer height is 0.05 I "THINK".... still trying to figure this software out... easier said then done.

Edit: 80 layers in 920 layers left and time is 12 min no idea on seconds in.

Short video containing, a function demo, a general overview and parts online.  475 layers in 525 layers left at 1hr 4 min.

That doesn't sound good - maybe get rubber gloves for this work?

Burns as in hot, or burns as in, "spicy!"?
