I would say, "You should be ashamed of yourself, but then I remembered how much of a mockery the Parallax Forums made of  my clean bench, back in the day. I can still remember the replies; "A clean bench is a sign of a cluttered mind." or, "Do you ever USE your bench?!?", etc.

Fact is, early on in my youth I was encouraged to clean my tools and put them back in their spot so they'd be there and ready when I needed them. It just became a habit with everything. Then when I started losing expensive electronics parts, I started organizing them too. It's what led to Parts Organization.

My condolences! 

I get frustrated when I can't find things or things are in my way. I've been known to rearrange a new bench several times over the course of a year to optimize it for my own use.

Oh yeah! It's frustrating, because it seems that the more I clean my workbench, the worse it gets.

I can relate. Thank God, that I can still see (and actually use) some of my workbench.
