Last night, I experienced the worst 3D print failure I have ever seen (for myself), and it was on the new printer (P1S). I set prints up on both the A1 and then the P1S. These were going to be the last prints for a few days and were for upcoming projects. I then went downstairs to have dinner.

While I was washing dishes after dinner, my phone went off and I saw the notification for the Bambu Handy app, but I knew the prints couldn't be done already. So I dried my hands and looked at the error. WTF?!? How did THAT happen?!?  ???

I ran upstairs (well, hobbled, really) and opened the door to the P1S and this is what I saw!  :o

Pulling the filament forward from behind the printhead, this is what came out on the top side of the print bed!  :(

After grabbing a flashlight and pulling everything under the print bed forward, this is what was underneath!  >:(

Honestly, I don't know. After cleaning up that mess, I wiped the plate down with 90% isopropyl alcohol and restarted the print and it went just fine that second time. Of course, I was babysitting it for the first 50%. But it went on to complete just fine on the second try.

Now some of my coworkers are calling me, "Spaghetti Man."  ::)
