I believe it was posted January 26th, 2026. I catch their stuff via social media feed. My BBS days were all during my time living in the Capital District of NY, also known as the Tri-Cities (Schenectady, Albany, Troy). The local area code was 518 and there was an official 518 BBS List.

As I peruse this list, I recognize more than a dozen of the SysOps from the various sites and knew another dozen that weren't listed by name for other sites I frequented. My own BBS wasn't listed as it was private (invite only) and part-time (evenings / nights). But being on many of the BBS back then inspired me to write my own software, which started on the C=64, was ported to the Amiga and finally on the IBM PC.
