She loved it! She was upstairs getting ready for church when I set it on the microwave. When she came down and saw it, she was very happy / surprised.

She hasn't yet seen this other project I made, as I have to get a photo put into it. The separate heart is a cut-out template for the heart photo frame.

That smile makes it worth all the effort. Nicely done my friend.

So, I FINALLY found a photo that was the right size for the cut-out!

The pic is cropped in tight on us for that photo frame, but in case you're curious, here's the full photo, taken at the Watkins Glen Gorge in my hometown, back in October of 2022.

It truly is something. I was lucky to grow up here and only 30 minutes from Ithaca, NY which also has Gorges just like this.

Almost looks like Hocking Hills here in Ohio. That area is LOADED with parks!

New York has many State / National Parks, but there are two mains areas that have Gorges. Watkins Glen and Ithaca, mainly. The water has been cutting it's way down through the shale for millennia. I have so many photos of the entire Gorge in Watkins Glen, which is 1.5 miles long (just the trail). There are many Indian (Native American?) and rim trails and areas where there are painted rocks from certain tribes, including the Senecas. As a Boy Scout, we used to help clean up and restore some of that.

Today's project is for my mother for Mother's Day.

There are also templates for the photos, which also serve to hold the photos into the frame.

I printed these at the same time using both printers while I was at work. Came home to a completed project, minus the photos.  8)

Very nice, now I really need to clear out some space to set up my printer.
