I talked to my friends Terry and Jim last night. Jim is very interested in getting involved with this. He actually flew out to the expo that Parallax had at California. Hopefully he'll join the forum. I pmed Granz with his contact info. Jim may have a better idea of a good meeting place. There was talk of having a vendor at the meetup and I believe the library would rent the room at the commercial rate of $200 for that reason.

No I haven't been in it but the here is the description from the website "Room 219 is located on the second floor of the Blasco Library. This facility accommodates 25 people comfortably."

I just noticed this - is there an elevator (or at least an escalator)? I have enough troubles getting myself up stairs, I'm not sure that I could take a bunch of projects/components/stuff up stairs.

I also just sent a Tindie PM to Land Boards (https://land-boards.com/blwiki/index.php?title=Main_Page) notifying them about our meetup, and inviting them to come meetup, and to join Savage Chats. Hopefully they will be able to attend (I've seen a lot of stuff on their store that looks good - oh no, I'm about to go broke.  )

Yeah, the missus just hinted at me that our checkbook is getting a bit slimmer in the "recreational spending" area.

I'd be more then willing to help get stuff moving for ya, but anymore alot of placed have elevators.
