It's pretty cool. ......

Also, on order now, are some CR2032 rechargeable Li cells with charger, some of the coin-cell holders for this case, and a micrometer. The coin-cell holders should be here tomorrow, and by Wednesday, the other two should arrive.

Cute, little , teeny-tiny development device, with power. 8)  Not sure that you could get much smaller. I'm thinking a small 8-pin DIP controller (maybe the ATtiny-11, or -85, with a couple LEDs - maybe sending out a Morse Code message.) .....
I looked at the Instructable and watched the Video.
Looks like a nice way to package small projects, and put a 3D Printer to good use. 8)

Admire the person with dirt under his fingernails.

I just checked it out too. I've noticed a trend in tools for making 3D printing much easier for DIY users. For example, MakerWorld has this cool parametric box maker that I played with last week. Of course, I wanted to link it  and now I can't find it.  :-[

Agreed. From custom storage to even tools, there's alot new out there.

Well, my second Small Breadboard With Power case turned out pretty nice (no raft.) I used the "transparent" filament (which is actually more translucent) and it is cool being able to see the breadboard inside it. There are only two of those tiny breadboards in my supply cabinet, one blue and one white. The blue one was used in my first case, and I will use the white one in my latest case. I need to order some more.

The coin-cell holders should arrive today, and the cells themselves should arrive tomorrow. I can hardly wait to assemble these things and play around with them.

Do you have a photo of the translucent print? Curious to see what it looks like.

I don't have a photo of the ones i did clear, with me, but turned out pretty cool, though its not clear like glass, his results might vary.

More troubles with Bluehost (at least it seems to be them,) attachments not getting through. Hope these show up; well, here goes...

The first case (on the right,) and the new one not yet assembled.

A closer look at the assembled case. Note that the sliding door did not fit correctly, I think that this was because of the trouble removing the raft. I'll fix that when I receive the coin cells, and holders.

This transparent filament was from my order of this set:

Until I got home, all I could see was the spools. I can now see the enclosures.

The picture of those spools comes from Amazon, from the page of the filament pack that I purchased. The pictures of the cases are from my web site. Apparently, your work router/firewall is blocking my site. Probably because Bluehost allows crapware/garbage to get onto my site; I can't trust Bluehost any more.

I knew that was the case, but I mentioned it to point out that I am glad you described what you posted and mentioned the stuff from your site. In that aspect I realized what was happening. Bluehost SUCKS! LOL  :P

In another thread, I posted:

Quote from: granz on Aug 07, 2025, 08:25 PMIn addition to all the other stuff I have, my youngest son is getting married in Dec, and their wedding theme is the movie "Up." I have been trying to print something from that movie, but having troubles with the prints. Currently printing a Benchy, to see if the trouble is with my printer, or the "Up" files that I have been trying.

Well, just checked again, and Benchy - which printed perfectly as my first print - is total trash. :'(  I already cleaned the print bed with alcohol, next is to try glue stick. If that doesn't work, time to check other possibilities.

Also, I found, and purchased, another Monoprice Voxel, for $100. It is in Cleveland, and does not offer shipping. Peter said that he can pick it up. Hopefully, the seller will give me the address soon; Peter is coming to Pittsburgh Saturday, and he is supposed to bring it with him.
Moving this conversation back to the 3D Printer board, for continuity.

It occurred to me that the only thing that printed properly with the new white filament was a very tiny copy of the "Up" house, with balloons. Everything after that was garbage, even the Benchy that printed fine with the original orange filament from the seller. I had also printed a copy of the "Sear's Tower" (new name is the Willis Tower, but former residents of Chicago still know it as the Sear's Tower) in a nice deep blue; it printed fine.

So, as a test, I started a print of the "Up" house with the blue. Whaddya Know - it's printing fine. You can even see the spool with the garden hose, by the front porch. It seems that the white filament is messed up. It could be that the filament absorbed too much moisture - although it arrived vacuum sealed, with dessicant, so that doesn't seem likely. Tomorrow (or whenever I can) I'll put it into our dehydrator, and see if that helps. I'm not happy that the new filament (just opened it today) is bad, but really glad that the printer still seems fine.

Well, definitely not standard housing. Extremely sub-standard workmanship, and totally inadequate materials. Need a new contractor.  >:(

The base started very well, but as you can see, the rest was almost not there. Anyone have any ideas about this?

I am guessing there's a photo? If so, I will have to wait until I get home to comment as I don't see the image.
