You may have seen, on the 3D Printer board (https://savagechats.com/index.php?topic=441.0,) about me printing up a couple Small Breadboard With Power cases and putting tiny breadboards into the cases.

As I mentioned there, there are several rechargeable Li CR2032 cells, and coin-cell holders for them, on order. I should be receiving them today, and tomorrow.

My new project will be to take one (or more likely several) of these, add a small controller (maybe ATtiny-11, or -85, or maybe ATtiny-2313) and some other components, and put together something cool. Right off the bat, I'm thinking of a LED, small speaker, button(s) and make a demo set.

Also, I think that this would make a great display/contest for the meetup (https://savagechats.com/index.php?topic=366.0.) How about one of these with a LED, or speaker (and accompanied by a small kit of extra components) and have it flash, or beep, out a message in Morse code. The first person who could tell me the message would receive the Small Breadboard With Power kit, with components, as a prize. Of course, any ham operator would have an advantage - but it may prompt people to get into that great hobby. Not to mention that our entire electronics hobby came from the amateur radio hobby https://www.elecrow.com/blog/exploring-the-history-of-the-hobby-electronics.html.)

The coin cells, the holders and the charger arrived. The coin cells are in the charger now, and I will insert them into the cases tonight, or tomorrow (going for my wife's regular eye check-up and then shopping - we'll see how I'm doing when I get home. ::) )

Yay! It works.

Next I need to add a Tiny-11/85/something and have it flash an LED, or beep a speaker, or something.

The print went well (this is the first one that I showed in the first post in this thread,) but there is a bit too much room for the battery pack. I just need to add a bit of something to push the battery pack so that the switch (really tiny little switch) sticks all the way through the slot in the wall. But, it does work, so cool!
