The new control board for the Neptune 2D, 2D for Dual Extruder. Looks like the major difference between the boards is there's a port, unpopulated my guess for the Neptune 2, for the E1 Extruder. I'd bet update firmware on the Neptune 2, pop in the driver chip and add wire n extruder for the 2nd extruder.

Ok, I am NOT looking forward to this...

OMG I hate hot glue.... EVERY connector, and EVERY wire.... YES the screw terminals too....

https://jknightandkarr.altervista.org/Computers/2D_3.jpg
More and more connectors swapped over... Wouldn't you know it..... I should have connected the ribbon cable first.

All back togeather. Time to test it.

SUCCESS!!!

Nice job, Joe. Looks like it was a bear, but it's now working again! Can't wait to see some of the stuff you print.

Looks like the middle of my printbed has a highspot, gotta figure out how to fix that. Maybe if I got some heat resistant glass??

I would think that would lower the overall surface of the print bed.

In my case the outside 4 points are lower then them middle.

So, the bed is bowed?

I would think that (at least theoretically) that could be compensated by software, but I've never heard of that.

How much would a new bed cost?
