I would think that (at least theoretically) that could be compensated by software, but I've never heard of that.

How much would a new bed cost?
It seams like a little, but honestly, I'd think getting heat resistant glass would be good option. Also there IS an option to auto level bed with a sensor. Lol Just need to add it to the machine.

I always thought that the auto-level was just for the bed being not perfectly level, not that it would handle a bowed bed. But, I guess that makes sense if beds get out of perfectly flat.

It actually IS an option, the files in the Micro SD card talks about how todo it. It replaces the Z-Stop switch.

So, the irony of that is I thought that too on the Ender, just based on experience with it. However, on the Bambu Lab A1, it clearly maps out the entire bed before the print (if that option is enabled) and compensates for small variations in the plate.

That sounds pretty good.

I still need to get rid of a few more things so that I can get my printer back up and running.

Here's a link to adding the BLTouch sensor to the Neptune 2 series printer. There's even a section on there to add a WIFI module!!
